In June I was on holiday in Barcelona with some friends.
We were staying at an Airbnb in Ronda de St. Pere 29.
One night, I jumped into a taxi and told him my address.
He started typing in the address, “Ronda d…”
Typing the address into Google Maps, on many devices you’ll have to finish the entire street name before typing the street number.
“Start with the street number”, I said, “then the street name.”
Will he think I’m a smart-ass?
The taxi driver was baffled and thankful.
It’ll probably save him 10 seconds per ride.
And maybe more important, a lot of frustration due to bad UX1.
You might find it useful too.
Happy Monday!
